(Summary) Students answered 11 questions about reading books.

Graph#1 shows proportion of gender. In fact, 45.5% is man, 54.5% is woman and there were no others.

Graph#2 shows that most resondents like reading books. A very suprising result was that two particioants answered zero and one. However, most participants answered between 5 and 10.

Graph#3 shows that Suspense, Fantasy and Mystery are the most kind of books. The worst kind of books is Biography. However, Biography was not very popular and Suspence, Fantasy and Mystery were very popular was not suprising.

List#4 shows the participants' favorite books. Although not every respose is shown here, many more interesting titles of books were given.

List#5 shows the participants' favorite author of books. Every response is shown here. There are more interesting and famous author's name.

Grap#6 shows the participants' point to choose books. Favorite author is the most point to choose books. Favorite author proceeded by Title or obi. Tiltle or obi were very popular is very suprising. In addition, Mediased things and My interest is the worst point to choose books. This is also suprising.

Graph#7 shows the number of books participants read in a week. In fact, 27.3% responded "0", 72.7% responded "~3" and there were not more than that. These results are very suprising, so 27.3% participants do not read books in a week. In addition, no one reads more than 4 books in a week is very suprising.

Graph#8 shows that best time to read books is on the move and before bedtime. The fact that there were fewer responses for in the library and no responses for in the cafe is so suprising.
Graph#9 shows that participants read books on paper or electronically. In fact, 90.9% responded "Paper books", 9.1% responded "Electronic books" and there were no "Audio books" responses. These results are very suprising. Considering these facts, there are participants who like paper books even in the era when people can read electronic books.

Graph#10 shows the number of books participants have. 1-30 books are the most responses. They tend to have more "Comic books" than Novels. Considering this fact, they collect books that are serialised, and there are many volumes. On the other hand, there are participants who have no books is very suprising.

List#11 shows the participants' opinion of what can be obtained by reading books. Although not every response is shown here, many more original, profitable and interesting opinions were given. By reading books, most participants felt that they can gain knowledge and consideration.

This survey has many unexpected results. These results could be very useful to books store who want to sell books to Japanese university students.
I like to read books because reading books makes me relax. I want students to read books in daily life by this survey.
